Konkani language is a wonderful language and it opens the hearts of Konkani speaking people when foreigners suddenly use Konkani instead of English to get in touch with them

I often made that experience when I spoke Konkani with people from Mangalore. They were surprised and full of joy and questions were asked and it was easy to make new friends.

Konkani language and culture is not known in Germany. I have been in love with Konkani language and culture for a long time of my life and I am pleased to read in this article that the Mangaloreans Konkani Association introduced the Konkani language and rich cultural heritage for the first time in North America.

Konkani language and culture gives Konkani speaking people identity. They meet, celebrate feasts
and their faith in God gives them a meaning of life.

    Best regards
