6.8-Magnitude Quake Jolts Mexico City

Mexico City, Dec 11 (IANS): An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted the Mexico City Saturday night, Xinhua reported.

The epicentre was determined at 17.97 degrees north latitude and 99.76 degrees west longitude according to the US Geological Survey.

It was not immediately known if there was any damage or casualty.
