Inflated Travel Bills Issue: Bedi Hits Back at Kejriwal

New Delhi, Nov 12, (PTI): Hitting out at Arvind Kejriwal for his remarks over the inflated travel bills issue involving her, Kiran Bedi today said he would not have made such a comment if he had comprehended the issue fully.

"The only problem is that he didn't understand the issue fully... If he had more understanding of the issue, then his answer would have been different," Bedi said.

Kejriwal had disapproved of his Team Anna colleague overcharging her hosts by inflating travel bills, saying she was wrong in doing so.

Asked about the controversy over Bedi's flying economy class and charging her host-organisers for business class tickets, Kejriwal had said that "she should not have done it. She has said it will not happen again. I would not have done what Kiran Bedi did".

However, yesterday Bedi had posted on Twitter that "Arvind has informed me that it's a spin for a purpose."
