Udupi: Congress sure to win 20 seats in Lok Sabha elections – Dr Arathi Krishna

Udupi, Apr 15: “People of India will support Congress in the coming Lok Sabha elections as it is the only party that has given harmonious, peaceful and secure administration to the country,” said Dr Arathi Krishna, deputy chairperson of NRI committee.

Speaking at the meeting that was organized at the Congress Bhavan at Brahmagiri for elections in-charges, municipal members and leaders of the party. She further said, “If the Congress government assumes power in the centre, separate ministry will be formed to address the concerns of NRIs. Accordingly, people of Karnataka are grateful to the congress party for having given pro-people governance. So Congress is sure to win 20 seats. Election in-charge people should work with commitment to convert the love of voters towards Congress into votes for the party on the polling day.”

Udupi block Congress president Ramesh Kanchan presided over the meeting. KPCC vice president M A Gafoor, district Congress working president Kishan Hegde Kolkebailu, Congress leader Prasad Raj Kanchan, KPCC observer Naveen Shetty, election in-charges, members of city municipality and various party leaders were present.

Vice president of Udupi block Congress Satish Kodavoor welcomed. Chief secretary Satish Machi rendered vote of thanks.
