Mangaluru, Apr 6: On April 5, Padua College of Commerce and Management, Nanthur, vibrated with energy and creativity as it hosted its annual Talents Day. The student council along with the cultural club, organised the event which aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their diverse talents.

Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, the principal of Padua College presided over the inaugural function. The highlight of the day was the presence of Sai Krishna Kudla, a distinguished figure in Tulu and Kannada cinema, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sai Krishna was recognised and honoured for his remarkable contributions to the film industry. In his message, he inspired the students to pursue their passions with dedication and perseverance. Prof Roshan Santhumayor - vice principal, Zeena and Prof Akshatha - student council coordinators, Seema and Reshma - cultural club coordinators, along Wilson and Melita - student council president and secretary and Robin - cultural secretary were the dignitaries for the inauguration.

The students enthusiastically participated in various cultural competitions. From quiz to fashion, dance and drama, students showcased their talents with flair and finesse, captivating the audience and leaving a lasting impression.

A total of 12 cultural competitions were organized, providing students with a diverse array of opportunities to shine.
