Mangaluru, Apr 2: Commercial complex and entrance arch of cemetery of St Sebastian church, Permannur, was inaugurated and blessed on Sunday, March 31 at 5.30 pm by U C S Sandeep Bhat, architect, Bengaluru and Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha respectively.

Fr Cyprian Pinto, parish priest welcomed the gathering. Arun D’Souza, vice president of parish pastoral committee rendered vote of thanks. Assistant parish priest Steevan Cutinha, Jyoti D’Souza, secretary, Dolphy D’Souza, convener of 21 ayog were present on the dais.

Engineer, contractor, supervisor and others were felicitated on the occasion. As part of the cultural programme, Amma Kalavidaru Kudla presented Ammer Tulu drama free of cost. All attendees were served snacks. Around 1400 people took part in the programme. The event was compered by Rayan D’Souza.
