Mangaluru: Final cruise liner of the season docks at NMPT

Mangaluru, Apr 1: The cruise liner Seven Seas Mariner made its arrival at NMPT on Sunday, marking the sixth and last vessel of the current tourist calendar to visit the port. With 610 passengers and 440 crew on board, the ship brought a flurry of excitement to the region.

Upon arrival, passengers were greeted with the traditional welcome of Tulunadu, accompanied by various cultural programmes showcasing the rich heritage of the region. To enhance their experience, tourists were provided with amenities including free Wi-Fi, a selfie stand, and transportation facilities to explore local tourist attractions.

During their visit, tourists had the opportunity to explore prominent landmarks such as the Gomateshwara Hills of Karkala, the Thousand Pillar Basadi of Moodbidri, Soans Farm, the Achal Cashew Nut Factory, the Gokarnatheshwara Temple, the St. Aloysius Chapel, as well as the local market and traditional houses of the district.
