Mangaluru: St Joseph English Medium School celebrates kindergarten graduation day

Mangaluru, Mar 28: Kindergarten Graduation Day was celebrated on March 27 in St Joseph English Medium School Adyarpadav, Neermarga. It is an exciting milestone for pre-primary children. It is the giant step towards a future full of hopes and possibilities. It marks a new beginning that adds new dimensions to their school life and the journey they begin towards knowledge and education. It was indeed a grand and glorious day, where 60 tiny tots dream came true as they were excitedly looking forward to receive their 'Graduation Certificate'.

On the solemn occasion, the smart kids from kindergarten were dressed in their graduation gowns and caps made this event more memorable. They were all beaming with joy and pride, amidst their teachers and parents, who were responsible to earn this graduate status. 

The graduates were escorted into the auditorium in a procession by the manager Sr Sujata D’Sa. Principal Sr Patricia Crasta, along with the chief guest Philip D’Souza and Irene D’Souza the proprietor, Prince Caterers Neermarga. 

The celebration began with a meaningful prayer song by the students followed by welcome address by Leena Gonsalves. As a part of cultural programme, there was lot of music, dance performed by the LKG students, which received loud applaud from the audience. The students of UKG Mariyam Aya, Prashvitha, Miral, Thasvi, Kenisha, Princeton, Shazil, Aahan Sheikh, Aarvi, Ishika shared their views and experiences of the past two years in kindergarten. They congratulated and thanked the management, principal and staff for the guidance and basic education given to them.

It was indeed a joyous and memorable event for the little Josephites as they received their convocation certificates from our dignitaries. 

Expression of gratitude towards the teachers, parents and staff was shown by the little ones by singing a thanksgiving graduation song ‘we are the birds in the garden and The music is on'.

The chief guest expressed deep gratitude and appreciated for mentoring the little graduates for the sound values being instilled in them. "As our tiny tots are all set to spread their wings and make their first flight, I am sure they will soar higher and nobler heights and make their Alma mater stand tall," he said. 

The manager of the school in her address congratulated the graduates and expressed, "It is our responsibility to help our children to blossom and grow into dignified human beings."

Headmistress thanked the Parents for their constant support and cooperation in moulding the graduates as Josephites students. She also thanked the UKG teachers Helen Lewis and Amita Veigas for their tireless effort in bringing out the best from the students. At the end she thanked the entire faculty for their co-operation for the great success of the event. 

The formal programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by the graduated Anitha Pias. The entire ceremony was compered by Flossy D’Souza.
