Kundapur, Mar 26: The discord within the Congress party regarding the absence of any position for Kota Block Congress President Shankar Kundar has been resolved, with an assurance of a position for him once the elections conclude.

In response to the concerns raised by Shankar Kundar, who had convened a meeting with his party workers and threatened mass resignation, District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor and Lok Sabha candidate Jayaprakash Hegde, as directed by the state Congress leaders, held discussions with Shankar Kundar and his supporters at the city center of Brahmavar. They assured Shankar of a position following the Lok Sabha elections.

Expressing his commitment, Shankar Kundar stated that he and his supporters would work diligently to ensure the victory of the Congress candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Dinesh Hegde, Narasimha Murthy, Kishan Hegde, and others were present at the meeting.
