Udupi: Trinity Central School organizes graduation day for kindergarten section

Udupi, Mar 26: The UKG children of Trinity Central School celebrated their graduation day on March 23 at Trinitorium. Dressed in their graduation costumes, the students led by Kalpana proudly marched on the red carpet along with the dignitaries. The chief guest Dr Virupaksha Deveramane, Fr Roshan Menezes, principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, vice- principal Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao, primary section head Dr Poornima Devadiga, and pre-primary section head Renita Monteiro swaying to the rhythm of the school band. 

The programme commenced with a hymn which was followed by a welcome dance by the LKG children. Thereafter a few of the young graduates shared their experiences and memories of their time spent in kindergarten.

Acknowledging the hard work of the little graduates, the chief guest of the day Dr Virupaksha Deveramane honoured the children by awarding the graduation certificates.

The chief guest then addressed the gathering and advised the parents to be cautious in differentiating the wants and needs of the children.

Kalpana, shared her memorable experience as a kindergarten teacher. The principal thanked the parents and the teachers for their continuous support for the progress of the children during their formative years in kindergarten.

The joyous graduates enjoyed singing to the melody of ‘My Super Hero’ as they are all set to walk through the doors of grade 1, with their new found confidence. 

The programme was compered by Anne Norris and the vote of thanks was delivered by Audry Shweta. The programme ended with the singing of the national anthem.
