Udupi: Trinity Central School organizes Thanksgiving Day

Udupi, Mar 26: Thanksgiving Day was held in Trinity Central School on March 22 to thank for all the blessings received and for making the academic year a memorable one. 

The day began with the thanksgiving Eucharistic Mass for the catholic students. Later, all the students gathered in the Trinitorium for the thanksgiving celebration. The programme began with the prayer song sung by the school choir. The principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, vice principal Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao, the chief guest Dr Fr Charles Furtado, PTA president Srinivas, and PTA secretary Ashwitha were present on the dais.

As it was the last day of the academic year, and the day to cherish, there was also a prize distribution ceremony for various events and disciplines.

The principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo announced the winners of the best class assembly, sports, cultural and literary achievers as well as the best house of the academic year 2023-24 and gave away the trophies to the respective classes and houses. The students who had secured full attendance in this academic year were also felicitated.

The hard work of a few of teaching staff who were leaving was also recognised as they were felicitated with flowers for their wonderful service towards the school. 

The valuable services of all drivers, conductors, office staff, security guard and janitors were well appreciated. 

The principal Fr Dominic Lobo addressed the gathering. He thanked each and every one, especially the staff, the students and the parents. He also gave some holiday guidelines to the students and wished everyone happy and safe holidays.

Poornima Poojary welcomed the gathering and Audri Shwetha delivered the vote of thanks. Vani hosted the programme.
