Kaup: Coconut tree falls on high tension wire, possible tragedy averted

Daijiworld Media Network – Kaup (MS)

Kaup, Mar 26: A coconut tree unexpectedly fell onto a high-tension electricity wire in Udyavar market, narrowly averting a major tragedy.

The tree, uprooted along with its roots, suddenly collapsed on Monday afternoon, but thankfully, the presence of the wire prevented it from crashing directly onto the road. Despite numerous vehicles, including two-wheelers, passing by at the time of the incident, miraculously, no injuries were reported.

Both Mescom personnel and local residents promptly collaborated to clear the fallen tree. However, the disruption caused electricity outages lasting more than four hours in nearby areas of Udyavar.
