Mangaluru, Mar 25: The annual day programme of SCS Preschools located in Urwa, Bikarnakatte, and Padil was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at the SCS Riverside Campus on Long Lane, Urwa. The event, themed 'Navaras...a Saga of Emotions', showcased a plethora of emotions through various performances by the talented students.
Dr Mario Joseph Bukelo, a distinguished paediatrician and neonatologist serving at KMC and SCS Hospital Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr Bukelo underscored the significance of responsible parenting, advising parents to steer clear of being overly anxious, ambitious, or protective, which could potentially impede the holistic growth of their children.
Presiding over the programme was Dr Rajneesh Sorake, the esteemed president of the SCS Group of Institutions. Dr Sorake commended the dedicated staff of the preschools and expressed gratitude to the parents for entrusting their children to the nurturing care provided by SCS Preschools.
Adding to the esteemed presence was Dr U K Khalid, administrative officer of SCS Group of Institutions, who shared an insightful quote by Kahlil Gibran, resonating deeply with the essence of parenthood and the universal connection we share as human beings.
The event also witnessed the presence of notable personalities including Dr Kabbinale Balakrishna Baradwaj, principal of SCS first grade college, Lolita DSouza, principal of SCS Nursing College, and Helen Lobo, principal of SCS Riverside International Academy, among others.
The programme was skillfully hosted by Cherishma, while the warm welcome to the gathering was extended by Vinaya DSouza, principal of SCS Preschools. Anusha, coordinator of SCS Preschool Urwa, conveyed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and supporters.
