Daijiworld Media Network – Byndoor (MS)

Byndoor, Mar 18: Pakeerappa Yellappa (30), a Bagalkot native, was arrested by Byndoor police after falsely alerting authorities about a headless corpse.

SI Timmesha, stationed at the Byndoor police station, was approached by Yellappa, who claimed that a headless body had been discovered at Maddodi cashew farm. Acting on this information, police, accompanied by Yellappa and locals, extensively searched the farm area throughout the day. Yellappa purportedly led the search, pointing out various locations where he claimed to have seen the body. The search efforts extended into the following day.

However, upon finding no evidence to support Yellappa's claim, authorities arrested him for providing false information.
