Udupi, Mar 16: Dr Ashok H took charge as the district surgeon in Udupi District Hospital on Saturday, March 16.

Dr Ashok is an experienced doctor who has served as the best DAPCO officer in 2012, Udupi District Best Service Award in 2013, Dakshina Kannada District Best Service Award in 2021, and earned people's appreciation.

Ashok, who has created a sensation in the field of public health within a short period of his responsibility as the health and family welfare officer of Udupi district, held various positions in the health department, served those positions loyally and brought honour to the medical field, has now taken charge as Udupi district surgeon.
