Mangaluru: Mangala Charitable Trust holds interstate level badminton tournament

Mangaluru, Mar 16: Mangala Charitable Trust held an open interstate level badminton tournament on March 9 on national level badminton ground at Neermarga here prepared with wood imported from Italy.

As many as 35 teams participated in the tournament. Mangala Charitable Trust secretary Jadugar Rajesh Mali and Sushil of Prime Sports lit the lamp and inaugurated the tournament.

Aditya Varma and Nigham Jain team were the winners in badminton open doubles. Sahasra and Vinay bagged the second spot. Anantha Krishna and Yadu bagged the first prize in intermediate division. Ranjith and Revanth bagged the third spot.

The tournament was sponsored by Prime Sports and Fitness and Mangala Magnus organization. The executive of Mangala organization Avinash M A gave away the prizes to the winners. Mangala Magnus manager Nagaraja Maroli shouldered the entire responsibility.
