Udupi, Mar 7: The Volunteer Services Organization (VSO) of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is excited to extend a warm invitation to the public for 'TARANG 2024', a grand kite festival celebrating the themes of environment and sustainability. This vibrant event is scheduled to take place at End Point, Manipal, on Sunday, March 10 from 4:00 PM onwards, promising an unforgettable experience of community, culture, and connection.

TARANG 2024 is more than just a kite festival; it is a testament to the spirit of volunteerism and environmental consciousness. As part of MAHE's commitment to sustainability, they encourage participants to engage in eco-friendly practices during the event. Entry to the festival is free for all, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to be part of this joyous occasion. Additionally, for those wishing to fly kites, they offer a special package at Rs 70, which includes 1 kite and 1 thread, allowing everyone to partake in the age-old tradition of kite flying.

The festival is not only a platform to showcase the artistic and dynamic aspects of kite flying but also serves as a community gathering to foster social connections and promote the importance of preserving the environment.
