Udupi: Block Cong president Ramesh Kanchan vows support for party's Lok Sabha candidate

Udupi, Mar 6: Udupi Block Congress committee president Ramesh Kanchan has clarified that he will sincerely support the candidate nominated by the Congress party from the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency in the Lok Sabha elections.

During elections, it is common for a party to have several aspirants and finally the party nominates a suitable candidate. The party's winning candidate will be weighed and decided, and every worker must try beyond their power to win that candidate. Even though he himself was a candidate during the last assembly elections, in the changed political scenario, he sincerely tried for the victory of the candidate suggested by the party.

Ramesh Kanchan, president of Udupi Block Congress Committee, said in a press release that even in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, even if the Congress party makes any person as a candidate, all efforts will be made to see him win.

There were media reports earlier wherein it was mentioned that Ramesh Kanchan was supporting a certain candidate and has expressed his opposition for another senior leader.
