Kaup: Youth gets entangled in fishing net, dies

Kaup, Mar 2: A youth who went for fishing in traditional boat died as he got entangled in the fishing net on the morning of Friday at Polipu sea beach near here.

The deceased is identified as Kishore (29), son of Neeladhara Bangera and Ravikala, residents of Polipu.

Kishore used to do fishing in his kayak boat alone. He had been to fishing at around 4.30 am on Friday. He got entangled in the net as he was throwing it in the sea. His kayak boat was seen floating around 6 am by another boat. On closer look, the other boat personnel found body of Kishore floating on water.

Kishore was the lone bread winner for his family. He used to fishing along with lighting decoration work. He is survived by wife, four-year-old son and parents.

The mortal remains of Kishore and the kayak were brought to the shore. BJP leaders of Kaup arrived on the spot. Kaup SI Abdul Khader visited the spot and are investigating further.
