Shivamogga: Nayakar K Puttanna Sagar passes away

Shivamogga, Feb 28: Keregadde Nayakar K Puttanna (99) resident of Sagar, Shivamogga passed away at his residence in the morning of Feb 24 after a brief illness.

He was a farmer and was the vice president of Gautampur gram panchayat for two terms. He was felicitated during the cultural convention at Mangaluru town hall in October, 2022.

He has left behind his son, founder president of Vishwa Kannada Samskruthi Sammelana samithi, engineer K P Manjunath Sagar, three daughters and a large number of friends and relatives.

His death was condoled with a silent prayer during the 19th national Kannada convention at Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh on February 25. Dignitaries in India and abroad have also condoled his demise.
