Kaup: College student goes missing, complaint filed

Kaup, Feb 28: A college student who was sleeping at home at night at J N Nagar in Enagudde village in Katpadi has gone missing since February 26.

The missing person is identified as Shainaz (20) who is pursuing her 2nd year BCom at Ajjarkad government college. She slept with her grandmother on on February 25 night and went missing from the next morning.

Shainaz’s mother Noor Jahan inquired with her relatives and friends, searched her at Udupi bus stand and Ajjarakad college, but could not locate her. She has filed a complaint at Kaup police station to find her missing daughter.

Missing Shainaz is 5 feet tall, has a wheatish complexion and was wearing a navy blue burqa while leaving home. She knows Kannada, Tulu, Hindi and Urdu languages. Those who recognize her should contact Kaup police station on 0820-2551033, said police.
