Udupi: Second national meet on Manipal Anaesthesia Technology 'MATCON 2024' ends at MCHP

Udupi, Feb 27: The Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP), under the aegis of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), proudly hosted the second edition of the National Conference on Manipal Anaesthesia Technology (MATCON 2024) on February 22 and 23 at the Sharadha Hall, MCHP, Manipal.

The conference themed 'Essential Practices, Unexplored Realms: Mastering the Art of Anaesthesia Practice' witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 250 delegates.

Dr G Arun Maiya, dean of MCHP, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, underscoring the pivotal role of Anaesthesiology Technologists in the healthcare ecosystem.

The conference was inaugurated by dignitaries including Dr Sharath K Rao, pro vice-chancellor Health Sciences, MAHE, Manipal, and C R Bharath Narayanan, sales head at Delta Health Care, who graced the event as the guest of honour.

Dr Priyanka G Kini, the course coordinator, and Anju S, the programme coordinator, were instrumental in curating a vibrant and engaging programme that delved deep into the complexities and nuances of anaesthesia practice. The conference featured stimulating discussions, workshops, and presentations, fostering a rich exchange of knowledge and ideas.
