Bantwal, Feb 5 ; The Women's Association of Our Lady of Vailankanni church, Farla, celebrated it's Silver Jubillee on Sunday, February 4.

The celebration began with holy mass and continued with stage programme. Fr John Prakash Pereira parish priest addressed that women have achieved in all the fields and they are the important parts of the family and society in his presidential speech. The director of the diocese, Francis D'Souza admired the great mission done by the Farla Association.

Fr Arun Rodrigues, first active president Irine Mascarenhas, diocese president Gretta Pinto, varado president Gretta Fernandes, PPC vice president, secretary, all commissions coordinator were present on the dias.

Past presidents and executive committee members were felicitated. Women achievers were also honoured. President Irine D'Souza welcomed and proposed a vote of thanks. Secretary Joyce D'Souza presented the report in the projector.
