Bantwal, Feb 5: City police raided a house of Goltamajal near Kalladka on Sunday, where an illegal slaughterhouse was functioning, arrested one person and confiscated the equipment used in the act.
Siddique, a resident of Madaka, was arrested. Nazeer and Sulaiman escaped from the spot.
The raid was carried out by a team led by PSI Ramakrishna.
Two quintals of beef, an Alto car, auto-rickshaw, scooter, wooden blocks, weighing scale and butcher knives are confiscated by the police.
