Justice Dinesh Kumar sworn in as Karnataka’s new Chief Justice

Bengaluru, Feb 3: Justice Pratinidhi Srinivasavharaya Dinesh Kumar was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Karnataka at the Raj Bhavan on Saturday.

Karnataka Governor Thaavarchand Gehlot administered the oath of office to the new Chief Justice at a function held in the Glass House of Raj Bhavan.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah attended the swearing in ceremony.

CM Inaugurates State Journalists Meet at Davangere

Later, the Chief Minister flew to Davangere by helicopter to inaugurate the 38th State Journalists Conference.

Senior Congress leader Shamanur Shivashankarappa, Horticulture Minister S S Mallikarjun, Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy, legislators Mayakonda Basantappa, D G Shantanagouda, Insight Founder Director G B Vinaya Kumar and others participated.

KUWJ President Thagaduru Shivananda presided.
