Godwin Mascarenhas of Mount Rosary Church Santhekatte elected president of ICYM Udupi diocese

Udupi, Feb 3: Godwin Mascarenhas of Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte has been elected as the president of ICYM, Udupi diocese for the year 2024-25. The elections were conducted on January 14 at Anugraha Udupi diocesean pastoral centre, Kakkunje.

The other office bearers include Riya Aranha Kanajar Secretary, Mervin L D’Almeida, Udyavar vice-president, Jane Siona D'Souza, Yermal joint secretary/Youcat in-charge, Playson D'Souza, Kuntalnagar, PRO/Yuvagaaz in-charge, Rouvin Pereira, Kalmady treasurer, Mecnel Rodrigues, Karkala town sports/cultural/liturgy secretary, Ashley D’Souza, Mount Rosary regional secretary, Glanis Monteiro, Kuntalnagar regional representative and Fr Steevan Fernandes is the director of the diocesan youth council.

The deanery presidents includes Shainey Alva, Udupi Deanery, CA Evan Jude D'Souza, Shirva deanery, Nithin Baretto, Kundapur deanery, Joston D'Silva Karkala deanery, and Lloyd Cornelio Kallianpur deanery.

The newly elected team brings a wealth of diversity and enthusiasm to lead the ICYM Udupi diocesan executive council into a year of growth, service, and community engagement.
