Kundapur, Feb 2: The state government should immediately release funds for the public works that have been approved by the former BJP-led state government, urged Byndoor MLA Gururaj Gantihole.

Gantihole was responding to the numerous boycott elections banner that are displayed in Byndoor legislative assembly constituency. He said that these road works are already approved. The new Congress government has not released the funds. Hence, the work cannot be done.

Gururaj further said, “There is 60% manpower shortage in Byndoor taluk. That is why the government is not responding to infrastructure issues of commoners including 94 C title deed.”

Responding to the query on the delay caused by additional bogies on Panchaganga train, Gantihole said, “There is opportunity for 22 bogies to run on Bengaluru-Mangaluru railway track. Hence, the demand is placed to implement the same. Request is made to add the bogies without any delay in running time.”

“I will happily shoulder the responsibility of Lok Sabha elections of Bengaluru central constituency. I have the experience of handling election in charge of two constituencies of Telangana. I have always dedicatedly carried out the responsibilities given to me by the party. I will continue the same in future too,” he said.
