Mangaluru, Jan 31: In a significant event, Sr Sudeepa, secretary of the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society, Karnataka, made her maiden visit to Carmel School on January 29.

Brimming with enthusiasm, Sr Sudeepa initiated her visit by engaging in heartfelt conversations with students across various classrooms. She then dedicated a portion of her time to meet with the Carmel Blossoms, passionately sharing the inspiring narrative of Blessed Carlo Acutis. The purpose of this interaction was to instil moral values and inspire the young minds to lead a purposeful life.

Later in the day, Sr Sudeepa convened with the school's faculty members in the conference room. The atmosphere was welcoming as Sr Lilly Pushpa, the principal, Dr Sr Prem D’Souza, the administrator, Sr Premal, the vice-principal and staff extended a floral welcome to the revered educationist. In her thought-provoking address, Sr Sudeepa praised the collaboration and selfless services of the staff, raising the institution's name. She provided insights based on her observations of school proceedings and underscored the significance of commitment in the teaching profession.

Sr Sudeepa's visit concluded with a session on child safety and development for mentors, offering concrete examples and valuable tips. The event, seamlessly hosted by Nisha Menezes, featured a heartfelt vote of thanks by Liffin. The official visit wrapped up with a convivial fellowship tea party, fostering amity among the school's faculty and administration.
