Media Release

Moodbidri, Jan 30: The compassionate students of grade 9 at Carmel School Moodbidri embarked on a journey to Jyoti Nagar School for a day filled with social service activities on November 11, 2023. The motto guiding their efforts was beautifully captured by Mahatma Gandhi's words, 'The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others'.

Divided into two sections, grade 9 A enthusiastically engaged in teaching subjects such as maths, English grammar, and the art of crafting a vibrant flower. The day also included an energizing action song to enhance the students' enthusiasm. Meanwhile, grade 9 B showcased their teaching prowess by imparting knowledge in English grammar, Hindi, maths, and guiding their peers in crafting paper airplanes. The holistic approach extended to incorporating daily yoga exercises, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

Beyond the academic endeavours’, the students revelled in the joy of sports and a new action song, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie. The event not only showcased their commitment to social change but also became a platform for learning values and interaction in a diverse society.

As the day concluded, a heartfelt vote of thanks echoed gratitude for the opportunity to make a positive impact. The students, eager to express their sentiments, shared reflections on the profound experiences that left an indelible mark on their hearts.
