Kundapur, Jan 26: “The constitution of India created under the leadership of Dr BR Ambedkar after adopting the best points from various countries in the world is the strongest in the world. Let us help in whatever manner possible for the country. Let us participate in social work such as cleaning the beaches,” said Kundapur sub division assistant commissioner Rashmi S R.

She was speaking after hoisting the national flag in the Republic Day programme held by the taluk administration at Gandhi Maidan and receiving the guard of honour.



























































"The constitution of India was created differently from other countries in the world after independence for educational and economic progress. According to it the growth of the nation is possible by the growth of every individual. Let us take the country forward by making the projects of the center and the state reach everyone,” she said.

City police inspector Prasad Kumar gave the command. The police squad under the leadership of Vinay Korlahalli, the civic workers, Kundapur VKR Acharya school children, children from Vankataramana high school, St Joseph's high school, government model higher primary school for girls, MLAs model higher primary school Vaderahobali, St Mary's higher primary school, government board high school Vaderahobali and St Joseph's higher primary school performed attractively last March. St Joseph higher primary school helped in the band.

Taluk level agriculture award from the department of agriculture was presented to Karunaker Shetty Kedoor, Nithyananda Sheregar Beejadi, Usha Bayari Kedoor, Indira Shedthi Halnadu, Lakshmi Kalavara, Rukku Kalavara, Srinivas Shanug Kundabarandadi, B Rathnaker Shetty Ulloor, Narayana Shetty Heroor, Bachu Devadiga Katbelthoor and Sathish Shetty Kandavara.

School children from VK Acharya School, Holy Angels School, BR Rao higher primary school and MLAs model higher primary school performed a patriotic cultural programme. The department of labor distributed laptops to the children of construction workers.

Kundapur DySP Belliappa KU, taluk panchayat executive officer Prashanth V Rao, chief executive of municipal council Manjunath, members of municipal council, former members, police circle inspector Nandakumar, taluk medical officer Dr Premanand, CDPO Anuradha, assistant director of youth services department Kusumakar Shetty , Roopa Mada of the department of agriculture, Raghavendra Varnekar of the department of social welfare, Sumalatha of the fisheries department and others were present.
