Mangaluru: Happy Kingdom donates air blowers to tackle fire in 5 forest ranges

Mangaluru, Jan 24: As a caring and responsible organization, Happy Kingdom, a hobby trekking group of Mangaluru, has come forward to help the forest department to tide over the menace of frequent forest fire by donating air blowers to five forest ranges namely Mudigere, Shiradi, Shishila, Didupe and Hebri.

Harsha Samrajya, the convenor of Happy Kingdom along with member trekkers donated the air blower to Paramesh, range forest officer, Mudigere.
Happy Kingdom is a non-profit organization comprising trekkers from all fields including doctors, engineers, bankers, IT professions, teaches, businessmen, homemaker and students.

Primarily environment lovers, the members indulge in adventure sports viz., mountaineering, Himalayan trekking, desert trekking, cycling, biking expeditions and monthly treks around Dakshina Kannada, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu and Uttara Kannada.

Happy Kingdom has around 300 active members and been around for five years.
