Mangaluru: Confraternity Sunday celebrated at St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia

Mangaluru, Jan 24: As a preparation for the annual parish feast of Valencia Church, Confraternity Sunday (Compricho Aithar) was celebrated on January 21. All the parishioners got together in huge numbers on this blessed day. The Eucharistic celebration began where Fr Kenneth Crasta, the assistant director of St Joseph Engineering College Vamanjoor was the main celebrant. The co-celebrants were Fr Roque D’Sa, Fr Vijay Monterio and Fr William Barracas.

After the Mass, the holy Eucharist adorned in a golden coloured monstrance and mounted was taken in procession. Brass band played devotional hymns which uplifted the beauty of the procession.  

After the procession, the parishioners assembled at the church to participate in the benediction that was again led by Fr Kenneth. The entire proceeding of the confraternity Sunday displayed the immense faith of the parishioners.
