Brahmavar: SMS CBSE students bag Young Scientist Award

Brahmavar, Jan 24: SMS (CBSE) students received ‘Young Scientist Award’ and are selected for national level science Congress for the fourth consecutive year.

Jeevitha and Sanvi K Bangera (Class 8 C) received the ‘Young Scientist award’ for their science project presented at state Children's Science Congress 2024 at Kottala Basaveshwara Bharatiya Shikshana Samithi Sedam, Kalburgi. They have been selected for National Children's Science Congress. 

They had presented a science project called 'Documentation of wild edible fruits from the surrounding area of Brahmavar' which was selected to present at the National Level Science Congress 2023-24.

Fathima Laveena D'Souza is their mentor teacher. 

Two teams from senior category and two teams from junior category participated at state level Children's Science Congress and presented their projects.
