Mangaluru, Jan 10: Milagres Degree College has started Kabaddi Coaching in the year 2023 for both degree as well as PUC students of Milagres Institution. From the past 6 months, Milagres College has participated in various Kabaddi matches in taluk, district level and state level Kabaddi tournaments.

The college teams have participated in Mangaluru taluk level Dasara Kabaddi tournaments at Mangala Indoor stadium and secured first place in taluk and second place in district level tournaments. Students have participated in under-19 tournaments at Nethilpadu, Dakshina Kannada and the team entered semi-final and secured the 2nd runners-up spot. They also participated in the 65 kg state level kabaddi tournament at Hassan and secured first place. The 65 kg state level Kabaddi tournament was conducted in Madikeri where the team secured second place.

The college team also participated in Mangalore University inter-collegiate Kabaddi tournament held at Government first grade degree college, Mudipu and entered the quarter final against SDM College, Ujire.

The college provides free education and mid-day meal facility for the students. There are total of 24 students from PUC and degree.
