Mangaluru, Dec 18: Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Dr P Dayananda Pai P Satisha Pai Government First Grade College Car Street, organized a week-long training programme for UGC-NET and KSET examinations in association with the IQAC of the college from December 11-16.

The training programme was inaugurated on December 11 by Dr Shivarama P, the principal of Government First Grade College Kavoor. A prelude of the training programme was given by the principal of the college Prof Dr Jayakara Bhandary M, who presided over the inauguration ceremony. In the one-week training programme, renowned resource persons of different educational institutions, Deviprasad, special officer, joint director's office, Mangaluru, Dr Ajay Anchan, Steevan Robert Tellis, Lithin, Sandhya, Monisha Shetty, Dr Jyoti Praveen, Prasanna Kumar, Soumya participated and trained the postgraduate students on various domains of UGC-NET and KSET examinations.

The training programme was coordinated by Dr Malathy K, coordinator of Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college. Prof Nagappa Gowda, academic adviser post graduate department, heads and coordinators of various departments, Dr Jyothi Priya, Suvarna Malini, Dr Nitin Chaulekar, Dr Lokeshanath, and Aruna Kumari were present. As many as 150 post graduate students actively participated in the training programme and benefited from it.
