Udupi, Dec 9: Sri Sugunendra Theertha swamiji of Puttige Math released the invitation card of the third year Ashtapavitra Nagamandalotsava organized by Udupi Kediyoor Hotels Private Limited.
Speaking at the programme held at Kediyoor Hotel in Udupi, Puttige seer said, "Bhuvanendra Kediyoor is organizing Ashtapavitra Nagamandalotsava for the third time. The Nadahabba will be held in Udupi from January 18-31, 2024. It is special that Nagamandalotsava is also taking place along with Paryaya the following year. We are very happy to release the invitation card today. It is through Naga Puja that we start Krishna Puja on the occasion of Paryaya. This Paryaya and Nagamandalotsava, which brings auspiciousness to the community, will be celebrated as the Nadahabba of Udupi. Bhuvanendra Kediyoor is conducting Nagamanlotsava for the 3rd time and we are on the 4th Paryaya pedestal and I wish may God bless him to perform the Nagamandalotsava for the fourth time when we ascend the pedestal for the 5th time. The wealth we have is demonstrated by giving it to God through charity. Charity, indulgence and destruction are the three ways to wealth, and charity is the best. If we dedicate the wealth given by God to God, God will give us more. The enlightened convert money into Punya by donating and this Punya remains with us even after death. Therefore, let the programs of Nagamandalotsava and Paryaya mahotsava to be held in January 2024 and be held successfully.”

Before the programme, Puttige seer visited the Nagabana of Kediyoor Hotel and offered puja to Nagadeva.
