Kundapur, Dec 8: Vishweshvara Bhat, editor of Vishwavani newspaper has been selected for journalism award being presented in the name of senior journalist Vaddarse Raghurama Shetty under the aegis of Brahmavar Taluk Patrakartara Sangha.

“The award will be presented at Kota cooperative agriculture society B C Holla auditorium at 10 am on December 17. State Patrakartara Sangha president Shivananda Tagadoor will inaugurate the programme.

State backward class commission president K Jayaprakash Hegde will present the award. Journalist Jogi will give a speech congratulating the awardee,” said the programme organizers.
