Mangaluru, Nov 22: The tenth anniversary of Mookambika Yakshagana Training center, Mangaladevi will be held in the temple premises on November 26. ‘Trijanma Moksha’ Yakshagana play will be performed on the occasion, stated a press release by the center.

There will be bhajans by Shanmukhapriya Bhajana Tanda from 9 am to 10.30 am, followed by the inauguration at 10.30 am. There will be a Yakshagana play by Dayanand Kodikal and pupils from 11.30 am. Well known Yakshagana artists in the district will enact ‘Narakasura Moksha’ from 2 pm. The concluding programme will be held at 6 pm.

Lion Ramananda Noojippadi will preside over the programme. Mangaluru south MLA D Vedavyas Kamath and other dignitaries will take part as guests of honour.

An award will be presented in memory of late Chandrashekar Balyaya, special achievers will be felicitated, scholarships will be distributed to children followed by the Guruvandane programme, stated the press release.
