Mangaluru: Yakshagana organizer dies of cardiac arrest

Mangaluru, Nov 21: P Vijayananda Rao (63), an organizer of Yakshagana and Haridas singing Keerthans, died of cardiac arrest on November 19.

Vijayananda was the secretary of Sheni Gopalakrishna Charitable trust and was holding prize distribution ceremony every year.

He was interested in Yakshagana and Talamaddale.

Rao is survived by wife, two daughters and a son.
