CM administers National Unity pledge, participates in Indira Gandhi’s birthday celebration

Bengaluru, Nov 19: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah paid tribute to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by garlanding her photo and later administered the National Unity Pledge as part of the National Unity Day, marking the birth anniversary of the deceased former Prime Minister at Vidhana Soudha on Sunday. State Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma and other senior officers took the oath.

Later, the Chief Minister, along with Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who is also the KPCC President, participated in the Indira Gandhi birth anniversary program at the KPCC office.

 

Both leaders later attended a program in the Bharat Jodo Bhavan of KPCC to witness the newly appointed presidents of different Bengaluru Ddstrict bodies.
