Mangaluru/Beltangady: The 4th and 5th Show of Lucky Draw 777 was held at Miyar and Paldane on the eve of October 29. The event showcased the film's commitment to reaching a wider audience.

Miyar

St Dominic Church Miyar hosted the show under the leadership of parish priest Fr Paul Rego, vice president Daniel Ranger along with well wishers. Over 450 people attended the event and Fr Rego congratulated the youths who attended and urged them to "Talk Konkani, Save konkani." Additionally, he asked writer-director-editor Rayan Magneto to cast young talents from Miyar in his next venture.

Melwin Pernal, Jeevan D'Costa and Hanson Rodrigues from the team were present.

Paldane

Saint Teresa Church, Paldane witnessed a delightful screening of the comedy film "Lucky Draw 777" on the October 29, with a lively gathering of over 600 crowd cheering with great enthusiasm.

The event, collaborated with ICYM Paldane unit in celebration of Paldane parish feast, which was filled with hearty laughter and joviality from the audience. The cheering spirit of the parishioners unquestionably played a pivotal role in the triumph of the screening, leaving a lasting impact on all those present.

A noteworthy moment was the ceremonial lighting of the diya, which saw Fr Alban D'Souza, parish priest, the parish vice-president, ICYM coordinator, president, and members of the movie crew coming together to commemorate the occasion. This added a touch of special significance to the event, making it an unforgettable experience for one and all.

Kelvin Saldanha, Lucy Lobo Aranha, Leston Lestu, Alwyn Sequeira, Naizil Rodrigues and Prem from the team were present.
