Doha, Sep 1: The ticket launch event of upcoming Tulu movie ‘Raapata’ was held in a grand manner on August 25 at Ashoka hall, ICC.
The ticket launch event was organized by Fixart Films in association with Dosturaq Trading & Contracting and JD productions YouTube channel. Mohammed Jamal Al Mahmoud was chief guest of the evening and Oliver Haas from German Embassy, ICC vice president Subramanya Hebbagelu, ICC general secretary Mohan Kumar, ICBF vice president Deepak Shetty were guest of honour of the evening. The event has begun with lighting of lamp from chief guest and dignitaries.
Tulu film actor-director Arjun D Kapikad, Shutter box fame Sachin S shetty, Raapta movie executive director Sandeep Kumar Shetty, Fixart Films & Productions’ Pavan and Murali and Dosturaq Trading director Jestin Pinto escorted chief guests to the Dias along with other dignitaries for movie ticket launch and banner releasing event. Meantime, ICC also felicitated chief guests and Raapata movie director Arjun Kapikad along with cinematographer Sachin S Shetty with shawl.
Raapata movie ‘Paad le Rangoli’ video song and another melodious number was released along with the movie trailer during the occasion, which was applauded by the audience with clamps and whistles. ATS Qatar, Udupi Restaurant, Pixel Qatar, SBA Auto Repair, Manchester Euro, Golden Trading, Karnataka Toastmasters and IndiQ Fusion restaurants were sponsors of the event. All the event sponsors and supporters were felicitated with mementos behalf of Raapata movie team during the event.
Once again, all Karnataka based associations and Fixart Films came together for felicitating Raapata movie team members Arjun Kapikad, Sachin S Shetty and Sandeep Kumar Shetty with Karnataka traditional shawl and memento for their contribution to Coastalwood industry.
Kusalda Javaner team Tharanath Poojary, Anish D’Souza and Jerald D’Souza along with members join the hand to felicitate Arjun Kapikad and Sachin Shetty with mementoes.
Billawas Qatar vice president and master of ceremony Amith Poojary compered the event with his versatile command over Tulu language.

IndiQ Fusion restaurant arranged sumptuous Mangalurean traditional dinner to all the guests and audience.
‘Raapata’ is produced under umbrella of Avika Productions directed by Arjun Kapikad, DOP-cinematography by Shutterbox fame Sachin S Shetty, choreographed by Avinash Bangerai and music composed by Prasad K Shetty. Dr Devadas Kapikad has penned down the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for the movie.
