Mangaluru, Aug 19: The athletes of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru excelled in the AICS (Association of ICSE and CBSE schools) Cross Country Race for schools in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, organized by Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Vidyakendra, Alike.
Jesnia Correa of grade VII won the 1st place in the U-14 girls’ category, and Johan Gladson of grade VIII bagged the 4th place in the U-14 boys’ category. In the U-17 girls’ category Mythili Nayak Manel won the 4th place.
The school management, principal and staff congratulated the athletes for their excellent performance in the AICS Cross Country Race, and appreciated their mentors and parents for the support, encouragement and training given to achieve this success.
