Mumbai, Aug 2: After Big B, Shahrukh, Karan Johar and a 'host' of other Bollywood celebrities, it is now the turn of pretty lady Preity Zinta to make her appearance on the small screen.
The actress has agreed to host UTV's 'The Preity Zinta Show' for its new Bollywood channel UTV Stars, to be produced by Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies Idiot Box division.
The show is slated to go on air on August 19. It is rumoured that Abhishek Bachchan would be the first guest.
This is not the first time Preity Zinta is hosting a show on television. Earlier she had anchored Guinness Book of World Records: Ab India Todega on Colors.
However, she had badly wanted to host a chat show, and since 2009 she was looking out for an offer. A source close to the actress revealed that Preity is highly excited about the project.
At the same time, she will also be working on debut home production movie.
