New Delhi, Jul 30: Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee denied having anything to do with the 2G spectrum pricing and also lashed out those who were responsible for spreading the information on Saturday July 30.

Mukherjee said that when he was the external minister in 2007 he was appointed as Chairman of Group of Ministers on vacation of 3G spectrum by the defense and para-military forces and the communication ministry for mobile telephony and other issues, it had nothing to do with 2G and its pricing.

"In a nutshell, I had nothing to do with 2G," he said in an interview.

Speaking on the issue of black money, he said that details have started flowing in about the assets and payments received by Indians in foreign countries, and added that investigations in this regard were on.
