Puttur: PHILOFREESIA 2023 Talents’ Day - Cultural bonanza by St Philomena College PG students held

Puttur, Jul 2: The Centre for PG Studies and Research St Philomena College, Puttur, organized 'PHILOFREESIA 2023' Talents' Day at the SJM hall of the college recently. Principal Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro inaugurated cultural event by lighting the sacred lamp.

President of the programme, Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal, in his inaugural address, said, ”Involving oneself in the various activities amidst the busy study schedules will help in formation of personality. It gives strength in managing one’s problems being free from tensions and anxiety. It also gives scope to think out of the box keeping the mind and soul fresh and light. One should never rust in rest because iron can spoil itself with its own rust. In this regard, organizing this talents day is a welcome thing."

Fr Stany Pinto, campus director of the college, Prof Ganesh Bhat, vice principal and dean of science, Dr A P Radhakrishna, vice principal and IQAC coordinator were the guests of honor.

Student welfare officer Sheetal Kumar welcomed, Prithvi k, assistant professor, department of commerce proposed a vote of thanks. Shreeraaga H and team rendered the prayer. Arpitha of second MCom compered the programme. Students of various departments exhibited their cultural talents in Philofreesia 2k23.
