Mumbai, Jul 20: With the release date of Rohit Shetty's 'Singham' scheduled for July 22, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray has expressed his interest in the movie.

Sources confirmed that Thackeray wants to watch the movie and Ajay Devgn is making arrangements for a special screening for him.

The script revolves around Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) who is an honest cop who tries to fight against corrupt politicians. Therefore, Thackeray is eager to find out how Maharashtrians are portrayed in the film.

So far only Aamir Khan had held private screenings of his movies for the Thackerays.

Apart from Thackeray, Ajay is also planning to hold screening for the families of his two good friends Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
