Mumbai, Jul 20: After actor Salman Khan appreciated young Imran Khan's performance in 'Delhi Belly' on public forums, the actor now has decided to mentor him.

It is learnt that recently Salman asked Imran to come over to his residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra to meet the fans gathered outside to catch a glimpse of the Dabangg man.

As Imran was busy celebrating his wife's birthday, he was unable to comply to Salman's wishes. But Salman who never takes 'No' for an answer went over to Imran's house and spent some time with the actor and his wife before taking him back with him to his Bandra residence.

Salman who is said to have guided Imran whenever required, also wants to guide the young Khan in handling his fans.

Being a people's person, Salman wanted to tutor the rather private Imran on how important fans are to one's career.

Imran too admires Salman for he had once said, "For me, the man (Salman) is a mystery that I am trying to unravel". He is said to be inspired enough to write a book on Salman. Not just that, Imran also said that he wished to spend an evening with him.

In fact, in his forthcoming film Mere Brother Ki Dulhann, Imran is said to pay a tribute to Salman by repeating his famous dialogue from the film 'Wanted' - 'Ek baar maine commitment kar diya toh main apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta'.
