Mumbai, Jul 19: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was recently slapped a hefty fine of Rs 1.5 lac at the airport customs on his flight back from London.

Not exactly a welcome the superstar was expecting! The actor was returning home from his Europea holiday with family. The family apparently had done extensive shopping on their holiday and came back with as many as 20 bags.

Eye witnesses say that the superstar was not given any special treatment  nor was he allowed to make phone calls.

The custom officers at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai stopped Shah Rukh Khan on suspicion to do a routine check up. He was let to go with his baggage only after he paid the fine.
