Udupi: Bantakal SMVITM bags NIRF ranking

Udupi, Jun 8: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal secured a position in the band of 150-300 top ranking institutes in the recently announced National level NIRF ranking on 'Innovation and Entrepreneurship' stream. This is an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE), government of India to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and Universities in India on indicators related to 'Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development'.

National Institutional Ranking Framework Innovation (NIRF) ranking is awarded to the institutions and Universities based on the parameters such as innovation and entrepreneurship mind-set development, I&E teaching and learning, I&E infrastructure and facilities, innovations developed, start-ups established, colorations with other institutions, and Intellectual Property (IP) Commercialization.

Shri Shri Vishwa Vallabha Theertha Swamiji, the chairman of Shri Sode Vadiraja Math Education Trust, Udupi, congratulated the institute for securing this honour in the national level ranking on innovation and rntrepreneurship. Also the management of the institute appreciated the efforts of the institute in achieving this position.

At the same time, Swamiji congratulated the Vishvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum for improving NIRF University level ranking from the existing 72nd position to 63rd positions in the University category in NIRF-2023.
